When we first talked to Morgan and she described what she was looking for it was the only logical choice.
Having lived abroad during her college years, she wanted something woodsy, but at the same time historic looking.
Their love is effortless and timeless, yet goofy and adventurous at the same time. They just make each other a better version of each other.
They’ll be getting hitched July 12th of 2021 at Yew Dell Botanical gardens and we couldn’t be happier for them! Here’s their love story as told in their own words.
How did you meet?: I bartended as a part time job at Outback Steakhouse. I used to only work two days a week while teaching full time.
I had just got back from a weekend at Disney (my favorite place) and he came in to eat dinner. The bar was completely empty and there was only one other guest there at the time.
I remember being immediately smitten with him until another girl walked in and sat down next to him shortly after. I was initially disappointed (weird considering I had spoken to him for 5 minutes of my life and he was a complete stranger) BUT this mystery girl kept saying “my brother likes..” “my brother..”
After they were done eating, she left and he stayed behind and talked to me for a bit. I had told him I just got back from Disney and he started asking me a million questions about Disney World and I lit up!
At the end of the night, he ended up writing his number on a receipt with a note that said “I would love the chance to get to know you better.” I texted him after my shift (which was WAY out of my comfort zone) and the rest is history.
When/where did you go on your first date? October 14, 2018- almost a week after meeting each other. We went to Odeon– a very hip and trendy bar
Tell me a bit about how you fell in love?
Morgan- I think it was very quick for me. Justin is an effortless person to love. He made me feel very comfortable and it seemed like we had known each other forever. He loved things about me that I was self-conscious about and calmed down a lot of my worries. He was my best friend.
Justin- I fell in love with her kind heart and adventurous spirit. From the very beginning it was clear to me how unique and special she is. She is caring, supportive, and most importantly fun! She makes me want to be the best version of myself. Falling in love with Morgan was the easiest thing I have ever done.
How did your fiancé propose? : I had been wanting to take pictures in a sunflower field because everyone was doing it on Instagram! It was Oaks day and I had the day off, so he suggested we go to Huber’s since it wouldn’t be as busy. He took me to a sunflower field and popped the question!
We went to get some snacks and beverages, decided to go back and take some more pictures since I wasn’t as nervous, but the entire field had been plowed down! Just one and a half hours later! He is also very proud of the fact that he had ZERO help with the ring. It was all him He proposed September 4th and I just couldn’t be happier…
What are you most excited about for your wedding?
Morgan-The dress and being able to spend the day with all my girls! I have been a bridesmaid over 7 times and I have envisioned my day for years!
I cannot wait to just have everyone we love in one place at one time. I also cannot wait to dance with Justin on the dance floor. It will be a real life fairytale.
Justin- Seeing Morgan walk down the aisle, seeing all my friend and family, and going on our Honeymoon to Jamaica.
What is something that means the most to both of you? We love to travel. I lived in Europe for a semester in college teaching English.
I have had many opportunities to go over and explore! Justin and I recently got back from a trip to Portugal!
We were supposed to go out west, to Mexico, and Germany, but Covid happened. We also love listening to music and going to concerts. We are all about living in the now and creating new memories.
