August 1, 2022

Cappadocia Horse Farm Goshen Kentucky

Nestled away, in the pastures of Goshen, KY sits Cappadocia Horse Farm, resting on 35 acres.

Cappadocia Horse Farm offers lessons, training (both full and part time) and boarding.

Horses and riding have been a vital part of Anna’s life, almost her entire life. Cappadocia Horse Farm,

It would only make sense to have Anna and Zach’s engagement session at a place that brings both of them so much joy, the Cappadocia Horse Farm.

Anna and Zach met many years back, all the way back to preschool. Cappadocia Horse Farm,

Though they went on to live their lives, fate had a way of bringing them back together.

Throughout their relationship, they’ve faced up and downs, and even some distance, but that only made the love they had for each other that much stronger. Cappadocia Horse Farm,

We asked for a little bit about their love story. Below are there answers.

Future Wedding Date and Venue:  July 2, 2022, at St. James Church

How did you meet?: We actually met in preschool! We have known each other for almost all of our lives.

When/where did you go on your first date? We went to a Randy Houser concert on 4th Street Live!

Tell me a bit about how you fell in love? We’ve known each other since preschool and attended the same grade school.

Super funny, we both had our first kiss at the same place, on the same date, with different people when we were in the 7th grade! Cappadocia Horse Farm,

It wasn’t until high school that we reconnected and instantly started crushing on each other.

Zach asked me to his junior prom, and practically since then we have been inseparable.

We even endured 2 years of a long-distance relationship during college when Zach went away to the University of Alabama.

Our relationship was completely unexpected to say the least, but it couldn’t have worked out any better in the end!

How did your fiancé propose?: Zach got two of my best friends to play along and pretend they were getting engaged.

So, the whole time I thought I was helping surprise my friend with her engagement, when truly I was the one getting engaged all along. Cappadocia Horse Farm,

Zach and I had a bridge in the park that we would meet at all the time in high school, it was our “spot”, and where I also asked him to my senior prom.

My friend DJ had told me they were doing a photoshoot in the park (where he was, according to the fake plan, supposed to propose to my friend Jess) and the starting point was under that exact bridge.

I must have been insanely gullible to not realize how weird of a coincidence that was, but I was so focused on Jess that I didn’t even consider it being my own proposal.

As I walked towards the bridge, Jess stopped and began filming on her phone.

At that point I was super confused, until I looked and under the bridge was Zach, all dressed up, with a whole setup of pictures and flowers. It was the most perfect proposal!

Where/when did your fiancé propose? The Parklands under the Thornton Bridge

What are you most excited about for your wedding? To marry my best friend and celebrate with our friends and family

If your love story was a movie what would you title it? Unexpected Cappadocia Horse Farm,

Describe your relationship in 5 words? Caring, Fun, Loving, Exciting, Loyal

What is something that means the most to both of you? Family. Our family is everything to us. And our dogs!

What is your favorite thing about your fiancé? He’s kind. No matter what, he has a heart of gold and meets any stranger with kindness.

How have you grown as a couple since you started dating? We’ve learned a lot about each other.

What makes each of us happy, sad, starts arguments.

We’ve learned how to handle the best and worst times together and I think that’s important.

Relationships can’t always be sunshine and rainbows, and we’ve figured out how to help each other through our worst days and how to make a good day great.  Cappadocia Horse Farm,

Favorite Quirk about each other? Zach is super competitive, and when he wants to win something (like a volleyball game, or really anything that can have the slightest bit of competition to it) he gives it his all.

Anna is particular about her ways of doing things.

Whether it’s cleaning the house or taking care of the dogs, she has a process to it or a specific way she wants things to be done.

She’s a bit of a neat freak and likes to be organized.

If you could spend 24 hours with your fiancé, what would you be doing? Most likely eating food, working out, walking the dogs, watching movies or a show. Cappadocia Horse Farm,

When do you feel most loved by your person? I feel most loved when we just spend time together.

No phones, no other distractions. When we can just talk about our day and goof off together.

What vendors did you wear or use for your engagement outfits? Dress from Anthropologie
