Gheens Foundation Lodge sits in Beckley Creek Park, one of the parks that makes up The Parklands of Floyds Fork in Louisville, KY.
With its floor-to-ceiling windows and stunning wood paneling, Gheens Foundation Lodge was everything and more.
Beckley Creek park is known for its community gardens, fishing lakes and trails. It’s a place that brings people together by offering something for the entire family.
Weddings are all about bringing families together and showcasing the love between two people.
For these two it was incredible important considering that much of Ingrid’s family is from not only out of town, but out of the country. With the restrictions of COVID her father could not attend from Germany, but her sister, Bachelor-in-Paradise star Astrid Loch, was able to finagle coming in from Canada.
Gheens Foundation Lodge provided the perfect backdrop to the joining of Ingrid and Danny in marriage.
With sage green gowns and stunning tuxedos, the day went off without a hitch.
Danny and Ingrid wouldn’t have cared had it not – all they wanted was to celebrate their commitment to one another.
Looking at the two of them, it’s easy to see that their love would be timeless.
One of our favorite moments from the day was the last dance when all their family and friends circled around them to sing to their happiness to come.
It was followed by a bubbles exit, the perfect way to encapsulate such a magical evening.
