Kaden Tower Wedding | Hope & Preston

May 22, 2020

Kaden Tower Louisville Kentucky

Get ready for an elegant, beautiful love story told from Kaden Tower in Louisville Kentucky.

How They Met

Hope and Preston met at a birthday party.  Both of them had been pulled from the comfort of their homes, forced by their friends to attend a party neither of them wanted to be at.  That was, until they saw each other.  Both of them describe it as love at first sight.  They knew they would be together forever.

The Proposal

Hidden near the pond of Anchorage Trail is a stunning boardwalk.  Preston set up a beautiful proposal along the walk, including signs utilizing the lyrics from their song, flowers strewn along the path, and a stunning engagement ring from Shane Co.

Ceremony

Hope and her entourage arrived to Anchorage Presbyterian Church two hours prior to the ceremony in order for bridal portraits of her gorgeous Couture Closet gown to be taken.  We also spent time with the bridesmaids. Elegantly dressed in muted baby blue Rebecca’s bridesmaid gowns, we had a great time.

Hope and Preston prayed together around a corner instead of opting to see each other.  As Hope walked the aisle, you could see Preston’s entire demeanor change and a small “wow” escaped his lips.  He was visibly thrilled to be marrying the woman of his dreams.

Hope’s father presided over the ceremony, even singing “Isn’t She Beautiful” by Stevie Wonder, to which the whole congregation joined in.  Once the newlyweds made it official, they headed off to capture their timeless bride and groom portraits.

Reception

Kaden Tower in Louisville, Kentucky, sits at the foot of Ruths Chris.  Boasting a circular floor plan, fountains emit stunning reflections as the sunsets.  Entering to some bopping music from Complete Weddings and Events DJ, Preston and Hope shared their first dance, complete with an epic dip at the end.  Hope and her father choreographed a dance of their own, both laughing their way through.

The sunset created an epic backdrop for elegant, timeless wedding portraits and we snuck away to the top of the tower to spend some time soaking in the joy of the day.  When we returned the party was full-blown, with glow sticks surrounding the dancers.

Hope and Preston left to a sparkler exit, lighting the way to their Walt Disney World honeymoon.  It was such an epic day for an epic couple.  We are thrilled to call these two friends.
