Animal lover, travel junkie, beachbody coach, FRIENDS addict, photographer :)
Small town heart, big city dreams. Full of wanderlust, always on the go, but family always brings me back home. As a part of the Green Apple Photography team I am proud to be part of this group of Kentucky Wedding Photographers.
There's nothing like capturing the joy on someone's face when they're in the middle of a lifetime accomplishment or joy filled moment Be it the happy tears of a groom, or the excitement of a senior throwing up their graduation cap, frozen moments are why photography matters.
I picked up my first camera when I was just 9; who knew that it would lead me to rarely setting it down. Regardless of the destination, behind the lens in my favorite location.
Chris Osters, Lead Photographer
Hey everyone! I’m Chris, co-owner of Green Apple Photography and spouse of lead photographer Christora. I got into photography because of the passion I saw Christora find while taking photos. It turns out I have that same passion too! I really enjoy making sure the day runs smoothly and helping in any way that I can to make your day memorable.
When I’m not shooting, I like to travel, play golf, taste bourbon and be an all around physics nerd. People say I have a voice for radio...so I'm also a trivia MC at a local bar. I am a lover of all things science and technology and strive to try new things in my work. I love problem solving and puzzles, so don't be surprised if you find that Rubiks Cube you've had laying around solved after your big day.
Katie Willis Rhodes, Lead Photographer
Hey!! I’m Katie!! I am an artist, photographer, dog mom, wife, sister, aunt, Starbucks lover, black licorice fan, houseplant collector, craft-making fiend.
Photography has been my passion since high school. Formerly taught using a manual camera and film, I learned how to develop images in a dark room when I was a student at DuPont Manual. I continued my love of photography by earning a bachelors of Art in Studio Art from the University of Louisville.
My photography career began after a devastating loss. My Dad passed in 2004 and being behind the camera provided a mental escape through the grieving process. I could focus on the beauty of life as seen through my view finder. Having very few photos of my Dad, his passing forced me to recognize the importance of photographing loved ones.
Being a wedding photographer, I am able to do what I love most! From the details of the day to photographing tears of joy, my favorite part of photographing each wedding is capturing moments as they occur —- the first time you embrace your partner on your wedding day, the exchanging of vows, special moments with family and friends who mean the most to you! Bonus points for laughter!! If you’re planning to wear a dinosaur costume or secretly smash your wedding cake into the smiling faces of your best man, count me in!! It’s these type of details that excite me!! I can’t wait to be part of your big day!!
Kaitlyn, Second Photographer
Hey there, I’m Kaitlyn! I have always been the friend with the camera capturing the candid moments of the people I love the most.
Photography for me never feels like work because I love every stage from the planning to the editing. My goal is to make every person that steps in front of my lens feel comfortable along with helping the day run as smooth as can be. There is a 99.9% chance that I will shed a tear on your wedding day, it’s just who I am!
When I am not behind the camera I am usually cooking up a fancy meal pretending I am on the Food Network channel or cuddling with my 2 big dogs
Hi, my name's Donnie! After 38 years spent as a news photographer for WHAS, I decided to retire. But being the person I am, I couldn’t stay still for too long.
My journey into the world of photography started when I spent time lighting sets for commercials. From there I moved to photographing world leaders and capturing history on film. Now I strive to help Green Apple capture some of the most celebrated moments of your life.
I believe that weddings are important mile markers in our stories. They signify love, growth, and togetherness. As such, weddings deserve to be preserved and documented with care and dedication.
Throughout my life, I have pursued the art of collecting passions. From riding motorcycles to crewing hot air balloon flights, I am always eager to learn and apply the knowledge I have to your most cherished events. I never shy away from a challenge.
No matter the request and no matter how strange, I’m here to do what it takes to make your big day spectacular.
Hey y’all, I’m Gabbi. I’m a creative who often gets her head in the clouds! I love giggling with you and being able to capture moments to help others see all the magical details.
I feel so lucky to have landed at Green Apple to be able to grow as a photographer. My previous experience is pretty digital marketing heavy with an emphasis on lifestyle imagery, mostly for social media use. Being able to be a part of your wedding day is so amazing and I feel so lucky to be able to help capture all your memories!
When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the barn playing with my horse, running, or going on adventures with my husband and dog!
