Rachelle & Richard’s 2021 Wedding at The Willow Tree

September 23, 2021

The Willow Tree Tipp City, OH

Surrounded by some of the most stunning Weeping Willows, The Willow Tree venue sits right on the outskirts of Tipp City, Ohio.

The original section of the Willow Tree home was built in 1830, by Samuel & Mary Pearson.

It was purchased, along with the farm in 1853 by Captain Newell Kerr.

The Kerr family expanded the building and grounds soon after purchase.

In the coming years, the Willow Tree would function as part of the Underground Railroad.

It was sold again and purchased by the Debold family in 1973 and has been hosting weddings since the 1980’s.

As such an integral part of Ohio’s history, coupled with the fairytale-like willow trees, Rachelle & Richard couldn’t think of a better place to begin their marriage.

The willow trees and stately home may have been what drew this couple to The Willow Tree, but seeing their love first hand, the background just kind of melted away.

Rachelle and Richard were meant for each other. From the moment you meet these two, it was evident that they were each other’s person, their other half.

We at Green Apple Photography wish nothing but joy and happiness for the new Hannah’s as they begin the rest of forever together.
