As a wedding photographer in Louisville I was beyond amazed when I first got to work at the Woods at Cedar Springs. With an expansive interior space, grey washed walls, and gorgeously appropriated chandeliers, not to mention the outstanding grounds, it is a bride’s dream venue. With acreage that allows for varying backdrops and aesthetics, you can’t go wrong with choosing this location to have your wedding.
Ceremony and Reception Locations
At Woods at Cedar Springs Louisville, there are multiple ceremony and reception spaces to choose from that provide an elegant wedding day setting. Offering both indoor and outdoor options, this wedding venue is versatile in accommodating specific preferences of couples, providing ideal spaces for both intimate gatherings and large events.
The Great Hall
10,000 square feet, the Great Hall is the showstopping indoor space many couples opt to use for the reception. A blank canvas, your aesthetic is guaranteed to pop against the grey-washed barn wood walls that bookend the space. The space is guaranteed to wow your guests, especially since its available in the event of inclement weather. Comfortable year-round with full air conditioning, the hall accommodates up to 350 guests and a dance floor comfortably. To fully utilize the space, couples can also use the covered patio for cocktail hour to incorporate the outdoor setting.
The Lounge
On the main floor, the Woods at Cedar Springs offers a unique client experience in the shape of their lounge. With two sofas, four armless chairs, two side tables, and two coffee tables, the lounge is an ideal spot for your guests to relax and meet one another.
The Loft
Overlooking the Great Hall event space, the Loft has four soft seating areas. With sofas and two chairs in each section, this location allows your guests a location to enjoy intimate conversations throughout the evening. And the view from above doesn’t hurt either.
The Covered Patio
At 2700 square feet, the covered patio is located right off the Great Hall. Stunning sliding glass doors open onto the amazing views of the ceremony areas and waterfall landscaping.
